Madison wildlife control tip of the month:

How to prevent raccoons from pooping in my swimming pool

Oftentimes raccoon poop in the swimming pools. This will be very annoying and disgusting, especially if you are not aware that you have raccoons at home. They love water, if you can remember, they love to wash their food with water, so they cannot live away from the water source. When they poop in the swimming pool, what will you do? Their feces contain Madison animal control roundworm and that is risky for your humans when ingested accidentally. But, how can you truly keep them away from the swimming pool?

First, you can install a Madison animal trapping deterrent to drive them away. They typically walk onto the steps and then poop in the shallow part of the water. If you can prevent them from having an access to the steps, they will stay out of the pool completely. You can install the toddler or the pet fencing around the steps. Other people can use the chicken wire or the razor wire. You can also get thin wooden boards and nails to come up with spikes. You can place the boards on the steps with the spikes up.

Trapping and Madison wildlife removal is another thing to do. Anytime the raccoon is penetrating the unwanted behavior, it will likely continue. They will keep the same routes every night, this means that you must set the Madison exterminator traps nearby the pool all the time, trap and relocating the animals is another option that you can also try just to make sure they will not do anything harsh and unrefined that may risk your health. Raccoons may scatter deadly diseases on your pool. This doesn’t necessarily mean that these creatures contain ailments, but enough of them are known to have viruses and bacteria that may be harmful to humans. The most typical ailment linked with diseases being left by the raccoons are roundworms, leptospirosis and giardia. The roundworms and giardia are intestinal parasites. Both live in the GI system, but the roundworms may bring more systemic problems than giardia.

A lot of roundworms in your system can make you vomit and suffer from diarrhea or worse having hemorrhage of the intestine. Giardia on the other hand can fill the intestinal tract and can make your stool watery. However, it is not as damaging to the organs, as the Madison pest control roundworm. The leptospirosis on the other hand is quite a different kind of illness. The bacterial infection is transmitted through the pee. It may be risky for years after leaving a certain body.
